# Digitalization of Seaweed Boosts the Economy of Pangkahkulon Village Residents
**Gresik** – Digitalization efforts are starting to bring significant changes to the seaweed cultivation sector in Pangkahkulon Village, Ujungpangkah District. The village government together with various parties continues to develop the use of digital technology to support community services, marketing local products, and strengthening the fisheries sector and seaweed cultivation, which is one of the village's superior potentials. The Head of Pangkahkulon Village, Ahmad Fauron, explained that the digital transformation carried out by the village was not only focused on administrative services, but was also directed at increasing the competitiveness of pond products, including seaweed.
